NC Cyclo-Cross Season is now completed Thanks to all who raced, participated, attended, hosted, organized and drove to the North Carolina Cyclo-Cross races this season. We averaged over 200 racers during the North Carolina Cyclo-Cross Series, hosted 2 UCI events, had a race field of over 100, averaged over 110 racers at all Wintea r Cup races, had great turn out in all fields and lots of families racing (all members) which was cool and there was a great showing at Cyclo-Cross Nationals in Kansas too. Look for announcements about the 2008-2009 Calendar. The UCI c2 North Carolina Grand Prix will be held November 22-23, 2008.
2008 Winter Cup - FINAL WEEKEND OF RACING Another great race with over 115 racers enjoying the BurMil course in Greensboro, NC. Thanks to Dave Fuller and the GVC crowd for hosting the event. Unfortunately race #5 was cancelled due to weather/access issues (first race cancelled in over 10 years). So the series was completed with 4 races.
